Nieuw bewonerskrachtenteam voor Mariaberg
Een mijlpaal bereikt in Mariaberg
[Mariaberg | 06 februari 2024] Op dinsdag 6 februari 2024 kregen negen actieve bewoners officieel de titel van bewonerskracht. Vier van deze bewoners vormen samen het nieuwe bewonerskrachtenteam voor de wijk Mariaberg. Na het succesvol afronden van verschillende trainingen ontvingen de bewoners het certificaat 'bewonerskracht', uitgereikt door Roger Velraad, Facilitator Klant bij Maasvallei, en Léon Heckmans, Directeur Wonen en Leven bij Woonpunt. De bewonerskrachten spelen een belangrijke rol bij het creëren van een fijne woonomgeving. Het initiatief in de wijk is een samenwerking tussen Woonpunt en woningcorporatie Maasvallei.
De rol van bewonerskrachten
De bewonerskrachten zijn actieve en betrokken bewoners van een wijk. Zij zijn de oren en ogen in de wijk, lopen wekelijks een ronde door de buurt, signaleren gebreken en onveilige situaties en geven deze door aan de woningcorporatie of spreken bewoners daarop aan. Zo dragen zij samen met bewoners en met hulp van Maasvallei en Woonpunt bij aan een schone, veilige en prettige woonomgeving.
Roger Velraad, Facilitator Klant van Maasvallei, en Léon Heckmans, Directeur Wonen en Leven van Woonpunt, feliciteerden de nieuwe bewonerskrachten en bedankten hen voor hun betrokkenheid. Roger Velraad: "We zijn ontzettend blij dat jullie je inzetten voor dit belangrijke werk. Jullie helpen onze woningcorporaties enorm om wijken naar een hoger niveau te tillen. Heel erg bedankt en veel succes!"
Léon Heckmans sloot zich hierbij aan: "We zijn super blij met de inzet en het enthousiasme om te bouwen aan leefbare wijken. Jullie zijn belangrijke mensen die weten wat er speelt en ervoor kunnen zorgen dat wijken leefbaar zijn én blijven!"

A Milestone Achieved in Mariaberg
[Mariaberg | February 6, 2024] On Tuesday, February 6, 2024, nine active residents officially earned the title of residential community 'power' team. Four of these residents now make up the new residential power team for the Mariaberg neighborhood. After successfully completing various training sessions, the residents received the 'residential power' certificate, presented by Roger Velraad, Customer Facilitator at Maasvallei, and Léon Heckmans, Director of Housing and Living at Woonpunt. The residental community team plays a crucial role in creating a pleasant living environment. The initiative in the neighborhood is a collaboration between housing corporations Woonpunt and Maasvallei.
The Role of the residential community team
The residential community team consists of active and involved residents of our neighborhood. They are the ears and eyes in the neighborhood, conducting weekly rounds through the area, spotting defects and unsafe situations, and reporting these to the housing corporation or addressing residents directly. Thus, they contribute, along with residents and with the support of Maasvallei and Woonpunt, to a clean, safe, and pleasant living environment.
Roger Velraad, Customer Facilitator at Maasvallei, and Léon Heckmans, Director of Housing and Living at Woonpunt, congratulated the new residential community team and thanked them for their commitment.
